o   Opt for the data in the Excel sheet

o   Use single click in table tools to format

o   Select the cell, where you wish to have the list
o   Choose the option of “data” in the regular tool bar
o   Press “data tools” option and then go for “data validation”
o   It may cause a dialog box to pen. Modify the setting via the setting tab
o   Create a list, by clicking on ‘allow”
o   Select the source box, in order to mention a range that you want included in the list
o   Determine if the “In-Cell Drop Down” is checked. Press on “Ok” after that 

4.      Make use of keys for short cut commands: Employ hotkeys better known as shortcuts to complete the data entry task
o   Tab key is used to move the cursor to the next cell
o   Shift+ Tab key will put the cursor back to the previous input cell
o   Ctrl+A is used to select the complete page
o   Ctrl+C can be used to copy the chosen data
o   Ctrl+V help to create the copied data
o   Ctrl+Z to undo the previous action
o   Ctrl+Shift+Z to reverse the previous undo action
o   Alt+Tab  enables time –effective switch between all the windows that are opened
